By downloading or using SCOTUSWatch (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Permitted Use

SCOTUSWatch is a tool that monitors the Supreme Court's public website for new documents and delivers push notifications and AI-generated summaries. You may use the App for any lawful purpose.

No Affiliation

The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States government, or any government agency. SCOTUSWatch is an independent project.

Accuracy and Reliability

Document notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis. The App may occasionally miss documents, experience delays, or deliver duplicate notifications due to factors outside the developer's control, including changes to the Supreme Court's website, network conditions, and platform notification policies.

AI-generated summaries are produced by a third-party AI model (Anthropic Claude Haiku). These summaries may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are provided for informational convenience only and must not be relied upon for legal, professional, research, or any other purpose. Always consult the official documents published by the Supreme Court.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the App will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.

Changes to These Terms

The developer may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
